By providing content to Frontline Web Developers, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission to use that content for your business website.

We are not responsible for copyright, trademark, licensing, or other legal claims relating to content supplied by the client.

4. Website Development

We will develop the website according to the requirements agreed with the client.

The appearance and functionality of the final website may differ slightly from initial examples, designs, demonstrations, or references due to technical limitations, WordPress updates, browser differences, or other factors.

Where appropriate, we may recommend changes to improve the usability, performance, security, or appearance of the website.

5. Revisions and Changes

Reasonable revisions may be included depending on the website package or service agreed with the client.

Additional work or changes outside the agreed scope may result in additional charges.

Examples of additional work may include:

  • Adding new pages or major sections
  • Significant design changes
  • Additional functionality

We will normally discuss additional work and any applicable cost with you before proceeding.

The client is responsible for reviewing the website and confirming that the information, prices, contact details, photographs, services, and other content are correct.

Once the client approves the website or requests that it be made live, the client accepts responsibility for the accuracy of the supplied business information and content.

7. Domain Name and Hosting

Domain names and hosting may be provided by the client or arranged as part of our services, depending on the agreed project.

Where the client owns the domain name or hosting account, the client remains responsible for maintaining ownership and payment of those services.

Third-party domain and hosting fees are not included unless specifically stated in the agreed service.

8. WordPress and Third-Party Services

WordPress websites may use themes, plugins, APIs, hosting services, payment services, analytics services, or other third-party technologies.

Third-party services may change their features, pricing, availability, security requirements, or terms without notice.

Frontline Web Developers cannot guarantee the continued availability or functionality of third-party services that are outside our control.

9. Website Security and Maintenance

We take reasonable steps to build websites using appropriate WordPress practices.

However, no website can be guaranteed to be completely free from security vulnerabilities, hacking attempts, malware, server problems, software conflicts, or other technical issues.

WordPress, themes, plugins, hosting platforms, and other software may require regular updates and maintenance.

Ongoing maintenance, security monitoring, backups, or updates are only included where specifically agreed.

10. Website Performance

We aim to create websites that work properly across commonly used devices and modern web browsers.

However, website speed and performance can be affected by hosting, images, plugins, third-party services, internet connections, browser settings, and other factors outside our control.

We therefore cannot guarantee a specific Google PageSpeed score, search-engine ranking, or website loading speed.

11. Search Engines and SEO

Where basic SEO work is included, we may configure website titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, sitemap settings, or other basic SEO elements.

We do not guarantee:

  • A particular position in Google or other search engines
  • A specific number of visitors
  • A specific number of enquiries
  • A particular ranking for any keyword

Search-engine rankings are controlled by search engines and can change at any time.

12. Payment

Payment terms and project costs will be agreed with the client before work begins.

Where a deposit or advance payment is required, development may begin after the agreed payment has been received.

Additional work outside the agreed scope may be charged separately.

Third-party costs, including domain names, hosting, premium themes, plugins, licenses, or external services, may be charged separately unless otherwise agreed.

13. Delays

We will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the agreed timeframe.

However, project completion may be delayed if we are waiting for information, content, photographs, approvals, payments, domain access, hosting access, or other materials from the client.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

14. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel a project, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where work has already been completed or costs have already been incurred on your behalf, you may be responsible for payment for the work completed and any non-refundable third-party costs.

Any refund will be considered according to the work completed, payments already made, and the specific agreement with the client.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed, the client retains ownership of the original business content supplied by the client.

Website design, custom development work, code, layouts, configurations, and other materials created by Frontline Web Developers may remain our intellectual property unless ownership is specifically transferred to the client as part of the agreed service.

Third-party themes, plugins, fonts, images, software, and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.

16. Portfolio Use

Unless the client requests otherwise in writing, Frontline Web Developers may display the completed website as an example of our work in our portfolio or promotional materials.

We will not intentionally disclose confidential information about your business when displaying our work.

If you do not want your website to be displayed in our portfolio, please let us know.

17. Limitation of Liability

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Frontline Web Developers will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of opportunities, loss of data, or losses caused by third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

The client is responsible for ensuring that their website complies with laws and regulations applicable to their business.

This may include requirements relating to:

  • Privacy
  • Cookies
  • Consumer rights
  • Advertising
  • Copyright
  • Business licensing
  • Industry-specific regulations
  • Accessibility
  • Terms and conditions
  • Data protection

We can assist with implementing website content and functionality, but we do not provide legal advice.

19. Communication

We may communicate with clients by email or other communication methods agreed during the project.

The client is responsible for providing accurate contact information and responding to reasonable requests for information or approval.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be published on this page and will include the date on which it was last updated.

21. Governing Law
